About
Law, software,
and what's between them.
I'm a JD/MBA candidate at Indiana University — Maurer School of Law and Kelley School of Business, graduating in 2026. Before law school I spent several years writing production software, which means I think about legal problems differently than most lawyers do: as systems with inputs, outputs, failure modes, and optimization targets.
My current focus is legal AI — specifically how retrieval-augmented generation can make M&A diligence faster and more consistent. LawAgent is my portfolio project exploring that: a full CRAG pipeline backed by Gemini 2.5 Flash, Cohere Rerank 3.5, Neon pgvector, and Supermemory, with a Drafting & Review Hub for generating and reviewing contracts.
Outside of that I'm interested in transaction structuring, corporate governance, and the intersection of securities law with emerging technology. I've clerked on both sides of complex transactions and find the tension between legal precision and engineering pragmatism endlessly interesting.
